Hernan's Mole Pipian is a traditional Mexican Mole with a modern twist.
Within minutes, you can achieve an authentic Mexican dinner. No compromising on taste or quality.
In Mexico, pipian is a simple Mole that focuses on the nuts and seeds that are blended in to thicken the sauce.
The preparation of traditional (pre-Columbian) Mole required pumpkin seeds to thicken the sauce. The Asian sesame seed was eventually added to Mexican pipian to create a creamy, aromatic sauce.
To prepare a mole typically involves a laborious time intensive process that can take a couple of days. Hernan's Pipian Mole is crafted by roasting and grounding 100% natural ingredients that are blended into a thick spicy “mole” paste. The paste is presented in a 7.2 ounce jar (6 servings) and easily combines with broth or water for a sauce that can be enjoyed with poultry, roasted pork, fish, grilled vegetables, or over enchiladas.
